'Sorry' coupons with Intercom
- Create three coupon campaigns that are going to be used as 'sorry' vouchers.
- Install the Voucherify app for Intercom.
- Respond to a complaint with a 'sorry' voucher using the Voucherify Rewards app for Intercom.
You need an Intercom account to create this workflow.
Generate coupon codes
Go to the Campaigns tab and create a new campaign by clicking plus.
Next, establish the details of your campaign (name, code pattern, number of vouchers).
We highly recommend checking the Auto-Update box so that if you ever run out of the original pool fo codes, Voucherify shall generate new codes automatically.
In the next steps, you can set the value of your voucher, certain limits on your vouchers, such as time limits and validation rules.
In our example, we've decided to make our vouchers redeemable only once per customer to protect our budget.
In the next step, you can add additional information on vouchers, called metadata.
Good job! Save your campaign and Voucherify will generate your codes.
Now, recreate this campaign by changing the type of discount to respectively 10% and 15%.
In the case of multiple campaigns created at once, you can also use API to create campaigns faster.

Install Voucherify Rewards
To install the app, go to your Intercom account and to the Intercom App Store.
Install the app and authorize Voucherify to access your Intercom data.
In the next step, you will be taken to Voucherify to select which projects should be plugged-in.
Next, go back to the Integrations. Now you should establish which coupons should be given to customers depending on the issue they're facing. For instance, if a customer is faced with a critical issue, we want to reward him with a 15% voucher.
Here, you can also customize the message that you can automatically send to customers along with the discount code.
When it's all set, confirm with Save Configuration.
Send a test message
Let's come back to Intercom and try to ease the anger of our customer with Voucherify discount coupons.
Oh! It looks like there is one customer who is facing a serious delivery problem.
Let's send him a message with the 'sorry' coupon.
Now, when a customer receives his code, he/she should be taken to this view.
