USE CASE: How to create your coupon aggregator

As we’ve written in The dark side of the coupon code box, it’s reasonable to redirect customers to your coupon page before they resort to coupon aggregators.

There are many ways you can benefit from this approach.

For starters, they won’t leave your website, so you can use your pages to apply up-selling tactics. Second, you gain full control over your promo portfolio. You can come up with new discounts on the fly and pull them back equally fast too. You don’t have to rely on your partner’s processes and policies. Moreover, you don’t have to pay them fees. Finally, you don’t risk that your customer sees a better deal from your competitor.

So how to prepare a personal retailmenot-like page with Voucherify? In the blog post, we showed you how to present fixed-code coupons, in this short article we’ll add how to assign personal codes.

The scenario: Meet Jane. She’s browsing through your products and suddenly comes up with an idea to look for a coupon. She leaves your store to google for it. Fortunately, your coupon aggregator is a top ranked page and re-visits your store. What she sees is something like this

Once she clicks on a link, she gets what she wants and you increase your chances for conversion.

You can test it yourself - visit our sample aggregate

Note: coupons displayed in this app can be redeemed in our playground Voucherify Showcase - be aware of the coupon validation rules we used (more than $100 in the cart or Solaris has to be in the cart).

With the new web widget, creating your aggregator is easy and doesn’t require much developer work. Make sure to let developers know about the source code of our sample application.
